Every dollar goes directly toward ministry activities; clearing storm damage, training service dogs, supporting elders, widows, and orphans, and sharing the Gospel. Administrative costs are kept minimal, and our leadership team serves without personal profit.

Our ministry is multi-faceted because it was forged in real need. Since Hurricane Helene, Andrea Mathews spent countless days watching how other nonprofits came to North Carolina to help. Through discernment and the guidance of Christ, she saw the challenges many organizations face and understood what was missing. Out of that vision The Savage Saints was born.

We exist to help the lost, stand with those who are hurting, and walk alongside those on a journey of healing. Sometimes that means planting the seed of faith. Other times it means nurturing growth that has already begun. In every case, your support fuels ministry that is both practical and eternal.

We strive to keep overhead below 10%. The vast majority of funds are used directly for field work, supplies, transportation, and mission projects. Our current overhead is limited to our warehouse facility, which we use to store assets and donations. We are also working to transform this space into a fellowship center for Bible study and church services.

As of September 2025, overhead costs are $3,000 each month. The Savage Saints continues to focus on rebuilding Western North Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene, and every gift strengthens that effort.
